Music video
production.

Concept-to-colour music videos for artists who want the picture as loud as the record. Treatment, direction, camera, edit and grade from one creative lead.

A music video fails in one of two places: the idea was thin, or the idea was good and got diluted between four different vendors. Working as director, cinematographer, editor and colourist on the same project removes the second failure mode entirely.

Every video starts with a written treatment — visual references, location logic, shot list and a colour direction. You approve the look before a camera moves, and the final grade is built against that same reference.

What's included

  • Treatment & concept — written direction with references, moodboard and shot list
  • Location scouting across Baltimore, D.C. and the wider DMV
  • Direction on set — talent blocking, performance and pacing
  • Cinematography — Sony FX30, prime and zoom glass, gimbal and lighting kit owned in-house
  • Edit cut to the record, with alternate versions for vertical platforms
  • Colour grade finished to the approved reference
  • Delivery in 4K plus platform-ready exports for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok

How it runs

Most single-location videos shoot in one day and deliver inside two weeks. Multi-location or narrative concepts run two to three shoot days with a three to four week post window. Rush delivery is possible when the release date demands it — flag it in the first conversation, not the last.

Vertical cutdowns are included, not upsold. A video that only exists in 16:9 in 2026 is a video that half its audience will never see.

Who this is for

Independent artists releasing a single or building a visual identity for a project. Labels and managers needing consistent output across a rollout. Artists who have been burned by a videographer who shot something beautiful and unusable, or something usable and forgettable.

Common questions

Budgets vary with location count, cast size, lighting demands and post complexity. Single-location concept videos sit at the lower end; narrative work with multiple locations, talent and a longer post schedule sits higher. Send the concept and the release date and you will get a written quote rather than a range.

Two weeks is typical for a single-day shoot including edit, sound and colour. Multi-day narrative projects run three to four weeks. Rush turnarounds can be accommodated when flagged up front.

Either. Many artists arrive with a reference or a feeling and the treatment gets built collaboratively from there. Others hand over the record and want a full concept returned. Both work — what matters is that the treatment is written and approved before the shoot day.

Yes. Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Virginia are covered regularly. National and international travel is available with travel costs built into the quote.

Sony FX30 as the primary cinema body with a Canon R6 Mark II for second-camera and low-light coverage. Lighting, gimbals and audio are owned outright, so nothing is contingent on rental availability.
